I tend to alternate between trying to progress/unlock all boards when I have high energy, but if I fail I just repeat easy ones for a while to avoid stalling progress with repeated failures. On the Quarry I think it is level 8 I tend to do most of the time (it is like a chess board - nothing next to each other and stacks are only about 4 high - the only move you have to be careful is the season in the bottom right area needs to be cleared in preference to the pair in the top left corner or you can get a cross lock on that at the end). That way you can keep the crystals to buy those permanent energy upgrades. Note once you have cleared several boards once, you can go back and replay one you found easy, rather than the next one in the list (or a random one once you have completed them all). The Steam achievements are also easier to earn for this version rather than A Hidden Object Adventure, which is the same game with different mechanics. Solve many tile sets, quests and adventures to get your prizes. Set out on a journey of epic proportions with the Lost Lands: Mahjong game It's not just a solitaire game with levels to beat - it's an adventure with many characters, an overarching plot and a huge world to explore. But if you log in every day you get crystals on day five, and you get crystals when you level up, so you can keep going for free, even if gets tedious. Play a classic mahjong solitaire game and help the elven people. The idea seems to be to get people frustrated enough that they will buy crystals to move on immediately. I have almost spent all my crystals buying re-shuffles - which usually fail a few moves later, in the Quarry at least.
